ESPN to be free from Friday to Sunday

From Friday 6am to Sunday late, ESPN will be free for everyone with Sky, Virgin, BT Vision and Top Up TV. This promotion has clearly been set up due to the Milan derby on Sunday, and a number of other interesting fixtures at the weekend. The following live fixtures will be shown during the free period:

• Friday (1am) NY Knicks v LA Lakers
• Saturday (12pm) Motherwell v St Mirren
• Saturday (5.30pm) Borussia Dortmund v Hamburg
• Saturday (7.30pm) Juventus v Roma
• Saturday (9.45pm) Werder Bremen v Bayern Munich
• Sunday (11.30am) Ajax v AZ
  
• Sunday (7pm) Inter v AC Milan
• Sunday (1am) Boca Juniors v River Plate

It's not clear whether ESPN HD will also be available for free to those with Sky HD and V+ HD.
